While my everyday life is very fun, it generally doesn't generate blog-worthy content. Every so often, however, I find myself in Afghanistan for 3 months and want family and friends to be able to keep tabs on me if they want. So here I go again.

I could really use a BLT today. Or a glass of Cabernet that doesn't cost 8 dollars and taste like water...
